We’re back.
And no, this isn’t going to be the post where I tell you all about it. It’s coming, really, it is. We just don’t have internet at our new place yet and me being the good employee that I am, I don’t want to use work time to blog….so you’ll just have to wait.
But I will say that we had an incredible time. I don’t think we realized how much of a break we needed (well, maybe we did realize…). I never once felt guilty/bored/ancy/restless of sitting on a beach, soaking up the sun and Ben and I were SO refreshed by the air, the sun, the surroundings and each other. (And the drinks didn’t hurt either…my liver has been begging me for a Strawberry Dacarie every since we got home.) It was a great mix of sitting in the sun, exploring, sleeping, swimming, meeting new people and hanging out just the two of us.
This is what we left behind, and I’m still kind of sad about that.

Dude. I can not take credit for the pic, although it is a legit pic and not a postcard. I just stole it from a friend who took it b/c I liked the angle. Although it is true that I do posess killer numchuck and bowhunting skills. But only when my lips are moisturized from my chapstick. Otherwise, they hurt real bad.
